The first of the two 18-hole courses that make up the Carolina Trace golf community is the Lake Course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the Lake Course opened for play in 1971. Winding around the 315-acre Lake Trace, the Lake Course's captivating views can make maintaining focus on one's golf game exceedingly difficult. The second eighteen at this North Carolina golf community is the Creek Course, which opened for play in 1979. The Creek Course features dramatic elevation changes, rolling terrain, and a meandering creek interspersed among the 18 holes. The narrow fairways are Bermuda grass with the greens featuring Mini Verde Bermuda. EVENTS: Are you planning a wedding, reunion, birthday celebration or corporate gathering? Bring your group to Carolina Trace Country Club and experience a great time sure to sweep your guests off their feet. We have a multitude of both indoor and outdoor space available to you, providing various ambiance settings. MEMBERSHIP: Carolina Trace is one of North Carolina's finest Country Clubs. Most people are first drawn to our two classic 18-hole championship golf courses which include the Famous Lake and Creek Course which features spectacular lake views and rolling hills, mild four-season climate in a gated community. Our guests join because of this and for the genuine camaraderie and immediate sense of belonging to the Carolina Trace family. Details: Greens fees, range balls. Cart fee is $20 per player. After 48 years of providing residential treatment services to men, Samaritan Colony is expanding its mission.
With the addition of the SECU Women’s Recovery Center at Samaritan Colony, we will soon deliver residential treatment services to women diagnosed with substance use disorders. Construction of the new facility began in the fall of 2022, and we invite you to continue with us on our journey as we continue to change the lives of individuals impacted by drug and alcohol addiction.
