P. Buckley Moss has been a staple in the Virginia Art Community for over 50 Years. She is known for her charitible work for Childrens Education. P. Buckley Moss, or Pat, was a student who did not benefit from traditional education methods because of dyslexia. Dyslexia, as defined by the Oxford Dictionary, is "a general term for disorders that involve difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters and other symbols, but that do not affect general intelligence". Gifted, but unable to read, she was readily passed through the school system with a bare minimum of education. The Foundation raises money for the scholarships through donations provided by members of the P. Buckley Moss Society, their Chapters and various fundraisers. Pat donates her art in the form of limited edition prints and unique original art to be sold to generate funds for the scholarships.

A note from Planned to A.T. Inc: Thank you for joining us tonight for this first annual fundraising event. The Virginia Beach Chorale is one of southeastern Virginia’s longest-tenured performing arts ensembles and has been a foundational member of the Hampton Roads arts community since 1958. We are dedicated to quality performances, music education, and community service. Our mission is to enhance the cultural and musical life of the community and to provide an opportunity for those interested in choral music to participate in these musical endeavors. The money raised tonight will to go towards a few funding goals such as purchasing a new rehearsal piano, funding our Lou Sawyer Memorial Scholarship fund, and operating costs for the 2023-2024 Concert Season.

Item delivery: Once the Auction closes at 9:30 pm, the winning bidders may take home their items tonight once payment has been completed. **Some items are delivered online and will be sent shortly after payment is sent.
